Love <-------> Nature

I had to ask myself this question today... as I can't afford to let another day go by without an answer, it's such a burden most of the time. Why do we fall in love? Why does love exist? Could anybody exist without loving?

We experience love from the minute we make our way thru our mother's wombs. We love her. Around her we feel safe... we actually fall in love for the first time. So by the definition it is absolutely impossible to go thru life without experiencing love. The minute we are born we begin to experience it, as we are taken from the womb we start to cry because we already miss it's warmth and protection. Which quickly brings me to a new question: Who do we crave for in the begining, our mother or her womb? Is it that in the first 9 months we are so comfortable inside of there that we miss it for the rest of our lifes? Is love just the search for a safe womb? for protection and warmth? The closer we get to answering this questions, the closer we get to nature. After all, she has provided us with all that we have.

Suddenly answering the question of how love ties in with nature is far simpler. We are born with the desire to seek affection (which should imply the sense of security and warmth), and once we start departing from the affection of our mothers we just keep looking for the same thing until the end of our days. Nature has created, it seems, a perfect way to procure humanity's survival. By creating us humans as creatures drived by sexual desire and the never-ending search for affection nature has almost secured the survival of the species. It's a marvelous development that works like a charm: Love is easily on of the most accelerating sensations we can achieve. Probably the stongest natural drug. But if we were created to mate, how come so many people are terrified of having offspring? They are faulty humans. Anyone who doesn't want to reproduce is going against one of the main purposes of their creation, they are cheating nature, and thus they are becoming a failed product.

On that subject matter... what is the main reasons why we are created? We are created merely for the purpose of evolution. We mate because we have to reproduce, we have to reproduce because we have to evolve. And evolution shuold not be defined just as a mere advancement, but as an elimination process towards perfection.

In the end, it seems, love is nothing more than a tool that nature uses to have us evolve. To have us be what she wants us to be. Creatures who won't need to love.
