MIKE RELM ANNOUNCES HIS FIRST NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINING TOUR FOR THIS FALL IN ANTICIPATION OF HIS DEBUT ARTIST ALBUM ‘SPECTACLE’

As audio/visualist mash-up DJ MIKE RELM crosses the country on Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom HuckJam tour as the featured music performer, he is announcing his first-ever national headlining tour this fall.

These dates will support the release of his debut album SPECTACLE, which includes his new single “My Heart” featuring vocals by Adeem and Adrian Hartley. Specific details about Spectacle will be revealed at a later date.

The month-long trek, commencing September 23 at the Wow Wow Hall in Eugene, OR, will take RELM to more than 25 markets across North America and wraps at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.

Stops on the tour include the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, Middle East in Boston, Rock N Roll Hotel in Washington DC and One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans. At each show RELM will dazzle audiences with his unique DJ sets, which will spotlight cuts from his current live DVD release Clown Alley plus selections from Spectacle.

"Spectacle was born out of a need to express myself creatively through music,” says RELM. “Well, that combined with the fact that I've received far too many cease and desist orders to make another sample-based record. It's pretty sad, even my children and my children's children will not be able to make a sample-based record."

Hailing from San Francisco, MIKE RELM adds tremendous energy to any event and has a striking stage presence. He has toured with many different types of artists from the Blue Man Group to Del The Funky Homosapien, and has appeared at many major music festivals including Coachella, the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Summer Sonic and Mt. Fuji in Japan as well as most of the major European festivals.

RELM is known for live performances which feature a series of audio mash-ups with video images, manipulated in real-time. His other credits include performances for a San Francisco Giants vs. Oakland A’s baseball game and the closing ceremonies of the Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro.

He completed remixes for Adult Swim in conjunction with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie, scored a short film for the Disney Channel series Too Many Robots and created a four-song mega mix for Yo Gabba Gabba (Nickelodeon). RELM also stars in an international TV spot for HSBC Bank, directed by Stacy Wall.
