Atlanta's Music Midtown Selects Creaxion as Agency of Record

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2005--Leading Atlanta Marketing Firm to Handle Public Relations, Advertising and On-site VIP Support for Renowned Music Festival - Music Midtown(TM), one of the nation's premier music festivals, announced today it has selected Creaxion (R) (www.creaxion.com), one of Atlanta's leading marketing firms, as its agency of record. Creaxion will handle advertising, public relations and on-site VIP support for the festival. Entering its 12th season, the venerable three-day music extravaganza will work with Creaxion to make some dramatic changes.

This year's Music Midtown will take place June 10-12 and, while the date of the event has changed, the location for the festival will remain the same. Music Midtown '05 will be held on the grounds adjacent to the Atlanta Civic Center, spanning more than 40+ acres and featuring more than 100 musical acts. Visitors to this year's Music Midtown will also notice a brand new look and feel which will be revealed in mid-March.

"After 11 years, we felt it was time for change," said Peter Conlon, President of Peter Conlon Presents and Festival Producer. "We wanted a one-stop marketing shop with a great creative reputation to help us and we found that partner in Creaxion. From our initial meeting and their presentation they really understood our needs and the scope of the Music Midtown project."

Creaxion is currently working on a complete re-design of the Music Midtown brand identity, including a new logo and a complete re-vamp of all signage at the legendary event. Creaxion will be responsible for all television, radio, and print advertising for the event and the agency is working closely with Peter Conlon Presents to give festival goers an entirely new and different festival experience. The company will also handle all national and local public relations as well as VIP management.
