While many might know King Britt as the sound visionary behind the award winning Digable Planets, others who have followed his career more closely know that he has remained one of the most advantages producers regardless of genre. Kicking off his lounge series, King Britt digs deep into his jazz collection to remix, produce, and collaborate on some timeless jazz tunes. Opening with a Herbie Hancock proclamation for recreation, listeners can’t help but recognize that King Britt’s return to these tracks is more energizing than most of the new material being produced today.
